The city of Cleveland is proposing to build a garbage incinerator at the Ridge Road Transfer Station.
It would involve the cooking of trash at high temperatures and the release of toxic pollutants into the air.
Recycling and reuse of materials is more energy efficient than combustion, and could create hundreds of jobs.
The city should not gamble millions of dollars on unproven technology that could endanger my family's health.

MY GRANDCHILDREN LIVE NEAR THERE. THIS INCERATOR WILL NOT BE GOOD FOR THEIR HEALTH!!
Cleveland needs to recognize that the materials they consider trash are actually our new natural resource. There is treasure in the waste we generate, but most are too blind to see it. I hope that it won’t be too late to see that burning it, rather than reusing it is the better choice for the community and environment.
This is BEYOND wrong—and makes a mockery of Sustainable Cleveland 2019
The citizens of the greater cleveland area already have more toxic pollutants than they know about poisoning us daily, we DO NOT need another source of TOXIC AND DEADLY pollution. The reports and science about this are undeniable. This trash incinerator threatens the lives of all who live near it. You are morally responsible for taking action.
